I was wondering if you guys can post some popular places to install a sound system in socal (San gabriel valley area, AKA 626 area code)

I have a couple here:
Best buy, circuit city, etc - i dont trust those places

Al & Eds - refused to work on my bose system, they'll probably overcharge anywayas

kembo - this place on san gabriel blvd. They messed up my install big time last time.

any other ideas?

go to "sound advice" in mission viejo. don't take your G anywhere else. they know our cars inside and out and have REALLY good prices. and they are cool. you can get their number off their website. type sound advice mission viejo in google.

thanks guys. Keep em coming. sound advice seems to be really cool but they are very far from me.. about an hour away. La rims is pretty close by to me. Any other reviews on la rims?

 

sound advice was over an hour drive from me...trust me you want someone who knows how to take apart our dash to do the install

nothing too serious, just an amp and sub. The place that i went to last time just blindly drilled a hole through my firewall and didnt patch it up either.

 

+1 on Sound Advice look for Rudy, but you have to call in advance cus he is not there everyday. Pay cash and they will give you a better deal install is clean and very professional. You can't go wrong with these people worth the drive.

 

Street Sound Plus in Van Nuys -ask for Rommell....you can't go wrong. I'll post pics later tonight of what they did for me.

They worked on numerous cars which showed up in mags, etc. And Steve knows what he is doing. For example, he was the only guy that ever figured out how to bypass the NAV on the new Lexus IS to play DVDs. Tell him Bobby sent you.

 

it looks like im going to be going to sound advice. They're familiar with installing double dins for our cars right? (ac controller + soldering of the dual climate control, etc).

 

if all you want installed is DD, then come to me... ive installed a dozen DD's in G35's and i can send u references if u want...

i work out of my garage on my time off and i do it cause i enjoy it, not cause i need the money... im hooking you up bigtime...
