I hate the freeway (So Cali folks, can use ur help)

So Im driving from a deposition yesterday back to the office on the 91freeway here in Cali when I hear a BOOOM

Apparently something was bouncing on the freeway, I hav no idea wat it is, but it smacked my bumper, flew up and bounced on the front of my hood, leaving about a one inch scratch down to the metal (along with a small circular dent where the object initially hit), along with some light scratches on the bumper, u kno the white ones, those can be buffed out

but basically Im now depressed, 3 month old car, already damaged

any so cali peeps (preferably the OC) kno any reasonably priced body shops that are trustworthy?

pics posted tonite

No dude- you're lucky it didn't smash your windshield causing you to swerve and get into an accident. The freeways here suck for debris. I know a good inexpensive shop but it's in the Los Angeles area- best of luck.

+1... clear bra isn't gonna do jack against the dent... and your matrix comment was hilarious . the damage doesn't look bad at all. painting is going to be your biggest cost. good luck with the price and i'm sure a decent shop will have your baby looking like new.

ps... try posting in the cali forums... u'll probably get a lot more help.

Me too!

I had a 1/2 sheet of plywood fly up into my LF corner from a car in front of me running over it. Had zero time to respond... made me pucker up big time. On the 241 toll road at Jamboree and I-5 at about 80MPH. Popped my amber corner lite out. But the worst are the dirt trucks with no covers on the 91 or 15.
