Stereo Shop Recommendations in Orange County???

Hey folks,

I have a 2003 sedan and a 2003.5 coupe both in need of some audio assistance. I am going to go the Double-DIN conversion route after Tustin Infiniti quoted me $1850 for ONE new Bose head unit.

Might any of you have any firsthand experience with your G35 with a shop in Orange County--preferably the Irvine/Mission Viejo neck of the woods?

Thanks and have a great day!

Thank you. I'll hit you up when I know what I am going to do for sure. Do you do all types of stereo work?

For the sedan, I am thinking about either double-DIN or get a replacement "Bose" unit off eBay. I'm just a little hesitant about all of the work (extra pieces, cost, etc.) by going with an aftermarket HU. It seems a little funky to me to have to drop $500 in accessories to install a $200 CD player.

For the coupe, I am thinking about keeping the HU (until it croaks) and putting in components and a sub for now.

if your gonna do DD then Kia for sure is the guy to go to. If you want to get into stereo and etc, call my guy Ryan (owner) @ South Coast Auto Sound. hes located off Warner + Beach in Huntington Beach. Really good work and great prices. call him at 714-596-3400. Tell him your a friend of mine(Kamal) and he will take care of you.

Huntington is doable for a good shop

I live in RSM and work in the Irvine neck of the woods.

I'll check 'em out next week (and be sure to name drop).

Thanks!

Yes; competition soundworks has the trophies to back up their work; and I know I can drop my car off there and get it back w/ an excellent job completed; not a doubt in my mind.
