When i see the old a$$ threads come back up with random one liners... it's kinda lame.
but i guess it's lame because i'm not in on the inside joke.
so i eventually just shrug it off.

but then again, everyone needs to remember...
before all this ruckus really began to take off, it was pretty fuggin GAY in here...

we would see these dip$hits come in here and post up threads like:

"i saw a G ordering at the drive thru at Wong's $1 Chinese Food! If you're on here, nice clear corners!"

Or the best were the
"cute chick on the road" threads...
these slay me.

no offense, but you're not gonna pick up on a chick by staring at her on the road, coming on here, and telling her to "holla at yo boy"

but even still, at the end of it i found it amusing and just went to the next thread.

i guess what i'm trying to say is... it's a phase.
just like "naaaah paaaassss", OCG vs Wicked, Delorean needing brembos, random dip$hits and their "i saw a G" or "chick with a G" threads, and what we have today.

seriously, i've got more important things to worry about.
stuff more important than:
what inside joke i'm missing...
who's digging up old threads and adding one-liners to em...
stopping those that are doing that...
complaining about those that are doing that...

not because i'm better than anyone else on here, my life just gets in the way of worrying about the above.

with that said, i do consider the hijacking of threads as UBER gay.
Gay with a capital TEE HEE.
but that doesn't just happen in the SoCal threads.
In fact, i see it happen more in the other threads.

(btw F'UCK DaveB and his maxima luvin a$$, but i digress)

just take it easy people.

there's a reason why we're all here on this section of the boards.
we have G's and we're in Socal.
two blessings in themselves.

hijacking goes on in EVERY section of every forum..g35 coupe, sedan, regional, yahoo news, vw vortex, name the forum and ill bet you that threads get hijacked..

and do you see any of those 'actual' threads on the first page hijacked?

 

Its not on the 1st page anymore since there is crap like "Lean wit it, Rock wit it" "Youre right... I Left" "G.I. Jew" etc etc etc.

We're not saying dont post. Just post stuff that relevant to whats going on. If you want to talk about you and your buddies playing with your dooshes start a thread in the off topic forum. There is no need for an off topic forum in the socal section.

It doesnt matter what goes on in other forums this is this forum we have had enough of it.

 

if things were so important than they would stay on the first page regardless..yea we start a bunch of stupid threads..but they die out..the important threads always stick around...the ones about tint shops and rim repair die out because they are so repetitive..if anyone thinks a thread is important then just type 'bump' and if it really is important then ppl will post and the thread will stay active.

 

i can go both ways... just as long as it doesn't get too annoying...
