Hey guys,
I purchased my 2004 G35 TB coupe 5AT about a month ago. Have been enjoying every day of it. I live in Highland Park and go to school at Pasadena City College (Which has a few G35s too).

Hello everyone, about 2 months ago I got my 04 BS G35c 5AT. Since then I have been trolling this website for information about G35's and have come across really useful information and so recently I decided to become a member. So far the mods I have on my car are tinted windows, driver side key hole cover from Riverside Infiniti and LED dome/door lights from mrwong@statik.
What's up bought an 06 5AT back in 06, just starting to do little things to it. 5/16 motordyne spacer, rear fenders rolled, and SxExCx grounding kit only. Wheels to come just need to figure out the the right offset to go with the 19 in. work vsxx 9.5, 10.5. coilovers too.. Hmmmm.... So many things to do.
Hope I can get some help. Thanks and luvin all the sick G's......

I just bought my 06 dirty pearl coupe a few months ago and since I started cruisin these forums have a list of mods that will cost me $11,531 I don't have. So I am starting with a z-tube, new grill, and perhaps a MD 5/16 spacer. Oh I'm from corona btw.
I've been all around the Puget Sound. Grew up in Port Orchard / Kitsap. Lived mostly in North Seattle to Edmonds, Lake Forest Park, Lynnwood, Snohomish, and Kirkland.
Gonna be road trippin it up there in August for a week too. 1770 fvckin miles one way!

Hi. Signed up on here because a relative has an '06 G35 coupe loaded with factory options, and I'll probably be handling a few repairs and upgrades in the future. This forum seemed like a good place to start learning! I've always loved how the G35s and G37s looked and performed. My car has a similar front suspension geometry and configuration (a-arms and coil/shock/swaybar setup and such) so the suspension tuning aspects aren't too different from a G. I also take a lot of car pics, so if you guys need any pointers HIT ME UP!
I myself drive a V6 American piece of junk and do nearly all the work on it myself. I got really tired of how stock, it handled like a boat - so 3 years later and I'm almost done with the suspension. Only things left to do to the suspension (for now) are adjustable tubular control arms all the way around and possibly a lightweight tubular k-member. I'm extremely happy with how it handles and rides (it keeps up on Angeles Crest with much superior cars such as C55 AMGs, IS-F, and others)... Without further ado, some pics of my 3400lb American boat (before I painted the corner lenses):

Fairly complete modification list:
Factory options: Whats left of the factory performance package it came with consists of a tight steering rack (14.4:1), a Zexel Torsen positraction carrier, and a 3.42 gear ratio in the rear.
Suspension: swaybars front/rear w/polyurethane bushings/endlinks, autocross alignment specs (check the front wheel in pic 2), Edelbrock coilovers up front w/550lb Eibach springs, alternative OEM springs rear w/Bilstein HD shocks, tubular panhard rod w/polyurethane bushings (will be replaced w/adjustable.. low priority), drilled/slotted (holes have chamfered edge) zinc plated rotors w/black painted hats + ceramic pads, 275/40/17 tires all the way around - Nitto NT555 front, NT555R rear - to be replaced with NT555R2 all the way around.
Driveline: K&N air/oil filters, whisper lid (removes baffles and silencer box), a lightweight aluminum driveshaft, heavy-duty gear oil, and a stock V8 muffler with some custom tips. Not much point in changing anything else for now since it's a V6 and will be undergoing a heads/cam V8 swap soon enough (min. 200RWHP increase).
Exterior: Trans Am hatch, Suncoast Raptor hood, body-color-matching tinted side markers (not pictured), rebuilt front daytime running lights with clear Lexan lens and overwattage bulbs, Pilot driving lights (with halos) in place of stock fog lights, removed rear Firebird logo, lowered w/drilled/slotted rotors (see mechanical), rare 17" chrome Firehawk wheels, 3M CS20 (15%) tint rear, 35% sides, 6LE custom exhaust tips (only 1 other set in existence), and regularly polished/waxed.
Interior: Custom leather interior w/matching door inserts, removed rear seats, 1/8" foam sound deadening (complete doors, complete floorboard incl/trunk) for road noise, Reflectix for drivetrain/exhaust heat deadening, iPod direct connection using iPod2car, leather steering wheel w/radio controls, cheap Clarion door speakers, interior roof-mounted camera (for recording runs/roadtrips), radar detector w/wiring hidden in a-pillar, and a few security enhancements to discourage would-be thieves.
