Hi everybody. I am new to the forums, but have been lurking for a while. I am from San Diego, more specifically Chula Vista/ South Bay. I have an '04 AT Coupe. I am currently working on getting her pretty on the outside, then the engine, then the interior. If anyone has any hook-ups, I LOVE deals. Also, if anybody wanna get together and BS, hit me up.
sup guys, joined this forum to get technical knowledge to keep up on maintenance for my girl's 2007 G35. I've ALWAYS tried to get her to just drop it a bit and get some wheels. She's an attorney so I just thought it'd be freakin HAWT to see a nice car then a female steps out at the courthouse. no luck though, thinks it's a waste of time.
Anyways, about me...i'm chill. i'm so chill i'd still kick it at a G35 meet in my non-Nissan/Infiniti car. In fact, I'm so cool my Mexican friends call me culo
i'd say i'm more function over form because I'm a driver, not into dat TOO low life. just enough for handling provided I still have damper stroke. I don't mind small parts that are generic/knock-offs if they do the job right. I daily a dark gray NC miata either on my stocks or RPF1's rolling around Irvine. My weekend car is an FD, hence my screen name (i was a rookie about 12 yrs ago).
05-MT-G35 owner in Garden Grove, commutes daily to Costa Mesa. I work as a smog technician with an EA license. Had my G for awhile now, just lurked around the forums most of the time. Anyways, if you guys have any smog or diagnostics questions, feel free to hit me up .

Looking at doing the IPP long block with the S7 cams will it pass smog?

It depends, if that mod is going to alter your emissions level, then yes--there's a possibility that you will not pass. But given it's dealing with cams, the likeliness of your emissions skyrocketing is not likely. But in any case, you'd fail the visual inspection before anything, unless of course you have an EO(executive order)# or CARB number affixed to that mod.
WHATS UP GUYS, I'VE BEEN ON THIS FOR A WHILE BUT IM FINALLY GONNA UPLOAD A PIC LOL. THIS IS A BEFORE AND AFTER SHOT OF MY G, I JUST INSTALLED A CF TS STYLE HOOD FROM OUTCAST GARAGE. I WILL BE GETTING A BLACK EMBLEMLESS GRILL AND ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BUMPER??? IM FROM SANTA ANA BTW.
pretty stock but it has a jim wolf intake and an exhaust that actually sounds good ( i know i know... why stray away from that beautiful sound, but this was put on by the previous owner for a small hp bump and I really like it. Nice a throaty)
