Hey everyone, my gal just bought an 08 G35 about a month ago with 51K miles and it's already telling her she needs to do her next maintenance. I'm wondering whether there's a reputable shop with great reviews that specializes in infinitis that you guys utilize? Or do you guys go to the dealer? Doing it herself is out of the question, so please share any news you have. Thanks!

I read the posts on that link above and people are driving from oc just to get service here. Looks like it is worth the drive.

 

^ Yes, I would drive 45 mins to an hour for these guys if needed as biased as I am. They've handled all my service since 2009 and I've never felt cheated or unsatisfied with them. Great guys.


But it's all about how far you're willing to travel or if you'd possibly compromise on a general mechanic vs one that specialized in your make/model.


Other shops that used to get mentioned on here often for Socal/LA Infiniti's/Nissan's were R&D Factory (in Montebello?) and Corner 3 Garage (in Lake Forest IIRC). The SGV/DTLA also has a veritable trove of auto shops everywhere and I guess you could search Yelp for reviews of those.

 

Hey everybody kind of new to this and my first post so any help is much appreciated. I have a 2006 G35 coupe and I'm ready for a brake job and also have some H&R drm wheel spacers to be put on as well. I live in the South Bay in So Cal and was wondering if any of you have recommendations for a shop or mechanic to do the brake job and since I am doing that have the spacers put on. Thank you for any help!

I highly recommend you make the drive to Precision Z Service in Canoga Park. Double the distance than you do, just to get serviced...no one comes close. Whatever they can't do...they'll recommend the comparable best who can

 

Drew got this right...^...Precision Z is the only one I've found that can get my alignment within specs! No one else has been able to do that with modified suspensions costing SLICK excessive tire wear! However, Carzone in beautiful down town Van Nuys is very good for all other service.

Anyone know a shop that can Install my TS style rear diffuser(Mastergrade)? I need it install asap

 

Title says it all, if anyone has this diffuser installed on their coupe please shed some light on how to do it since the diffuser meant for 350Z. Shop recommendation would be helpful but not sure if It would be a bodyshop or performance tuning shop that qualify for this kinda install? Any of you had good reviews with Project Import in Orange, CA? Thanks for your help guys.
