IF Kobe is trying to make a point in a game 7 instead of trying to win the game, he is no where near the greats of NBA basketball.

That doesn't matter, you never give up. Would Jordan give up and try to make a statement in game 7? Would Magic, would Bird? I'm just replying to what you thought, that Kobe gave up and tried to make a statement. I don't think he did.

i completely understand. im not saying what he did was correct. its wrong to do what he did. he should have attempted to bring his team back but did not. it was a bad move, but his emotions got the best of him. hes still young.

He is no where near the NBA greats, especially in sportsmanship. That is a BIG NO NO by not congratulating the other team. You are falling in the Isiah Thomas category and you are never forgiven for that. You want to know why people hate Kobe? This poor attitude he shows on national TV is why. So sad, I respected Kobe as a player, no so much anymore.

(I am posting this is every thread that has Kobe lovers in it, because this is the kind of player that they worship)

Also quoted from NightRider "Ill bet your mom that the top three candidates are NASH, KOBE, and LEBRON.."

I told you guys not to make assumptions on the votes when it didn't even come out. Your reasons why you said Kobe was third or second were completely basis with no factual support. But you guys were soooooooooooooo sure Kobe was second or third. Let me correct you guys on Kobe one last time this season, but probably many more times in Kobe's career. The MVP votes were as followed. Nash, Lebron, Dirk, THEN Kobe. GG MVP Race.
