**Time to Vote** G35 Club Name
Re: **Time to Vote** G35 Club Name
I voted, let’s pick a name and start the club. I can assist with internet technology , web sites, email lists, etc. I can also participate as a board of director if we elect to have a board. Starting this club is really a great idea. I am already looking forward to the next meet. See you all there.

Re: **Time to Vote** G35 Club Name
That's why I have been chatting up on the Sedan and Coupe boards. Once the the Valley Meet group started talking about a club, I knew the other regions would want to get in on the action. I think we should probably think about Top Level and chapters.... not unlike the PTA or a Fraternity - there is a "national" (or in this North American continent, so we do not alienate our Canuck buds) and then local chapters representing counties or regional areas that are geographically desireable to the members. I am currently taking a poll in the sedan and coupe forums just to see how many people are interested in a club, as well as their location. This will give us an idea how much energy is out there to so this. I KNOW there is a lot of excitement here in SoCal for a club, so you can see that we are pushing for it. We'll probably drive the process and then let everyone ride the wave.
The way i see it, if there is not enough interest in a local area for a chapter, an individual could still be a member of the "national" club getting whatever vendor discounts or goodies we come up with. When enough interest grows in an area, a chapter can be formed and their own events can be held using the Club's national-image power.
Sound good?

Re: **Time to Vote** G35 Club Name
Sounds like a good idea to me, but shouldn't we start over with a North America club name - our name ideas are cool but most are geared to Cali? Seems like the area chapters would derive there name from the parent club? No?

Ya - that's way it looks likes its going....the name we select will probably be a chapter name....with the National Groups something like G35 Drivers Association or something.

Re: **Time to Vote** G35 Club Name
I just read through the names, and most of them aren't good. If you're making a top level club, consider something more professional like "G35 Club of America". Another suggestion is *not* to use the name Infiniti in the name (could be a cause for a copyright law suit).
