The drop on these for a sedan are roughly ~2.0 F and ~1.5" R from what I've read.

Not exactly, for a sedan its required pretty much. However for a coupe, based on what I've read its more of an optional kind of thing for a coupe---- since the drop isnt as dramatic as coils would be.
