FS: TEIN Flex Coilovers
TEIN Flex Coilovers
I am selling the REAR coilovers/springs off my 06 coupe. They are 350Z TEIN Flex coilovers with about 47,000 miles on them. A good portion of those miles were spent on the highway. The last 2 years or so have been mostly city driving, I'm a college student so the car doesn't get driven much while I am down in MD.
Now for the sake of honesty, here's a little bit of back story... I am home for the summer, (back in NJ unfortunately), and everyone knows the roads here are $hit. On Thursday morning I hit a moderately sized pothole on my way to work. The impact sheared my front passenger side shock clean off the lower mount where the carrier bolt threads through
. I have decided to replace the whole suspension with the Eibach Sportline Kit and Tokico HP shocks. This leaves me with one working front coilover and the 2 rears.
Summary:
Front passenger shock broke...selling rear setup. You want to give me some monies for these
EDIT 6/6: Sorry the pics are a little dark. It was late last night when I took them. If you want another angle/better pic just let me know. There is some surface rust on the lower mounts and the typical paint chips but that's just cosmetic. The shocks and springs are in perfect working order.
UPDATE: 7/29/2012
Rear Springs: SOLD!
Rear Shocks: SOLD!
Front Springs: $150 Shipped

The TEIN Flex's are known to be on the stiffer side. I think the spring rate is in the low-mid 600's compared to the stock 300. Even on the lowest setting it is still considerably stiffer then OEM. I've gotten used to how they feel but if you do a lot of long commutes these probably aren't for you.
Honestly, I still have to take the rears off tonight after work so I can get idea of the weight and take some pictures. Shoot me a PM with a price and I'll let you know where I am at.
I haven't been in a car with your setup so I can't comment one way or another. But if you think this might be what your looking for then I am all ears

It is pretty crazy, yes. The front drivers side is in perfect working order, no deformation or stress cracks that I can see. There is a little paint that flaked off but that is just cosmetic. However, to be on the safe side I am holding on to it unless someone really wants it lol. I was only looking to sell the rear setup for the time being.
Update: I got home pretty late last night from work but I did get the rear suspension off. I'll take pics and have them up tonight.
I can't really comment on how they compare but I do know the spring rate for the rears of the TEIN Flex's are 600 and change. There is a thread that lists all the spring rates for various suspensions somewhere on here. It may even be a sticky but I'm on my phone at the moment so its kind of hard to find.
