Edited 06/12/2014. took my car to my shop and we inspected all bushings, ball joints, they're 100% fine.

I suggest everyone should bring their car check it before order any parts, some time pictures lie

+1 , everyone please inspect your bushings, a picture of the arm from the side says nothing, LOOK at the actual bushing or have someone inspect them for you, don't just take someones word for it.

This picture below is an example of a bushing that's actually damaged, not what's posted above:

First of all, mine looked exactly like that when they were bad. You can't always plainly see how bad it is with a visual inspection. Shame on YOU for not knowing what you're talking about. Give me the alignment numbers and I'll bet you $10 his caster is not within specs, which would tell me beyond a shadow of a doubt that his bushings are not all that they should be.

Second of all, he has expressed no interest in buying arms from me, so I have no reason to lie to him, dummy. He merely asked me a question.

I see you deflecting, so I ask again: Where do you see damage in the pictures jzhu625 posted???

I know very well what I'm talking about thank you very much, but what your doing is teetering between selling and scamming people who don't know any better. I'm not even going to get into the fact that you are trying to "...to solve your problems! " by pre-installing energy bushings.

FYI anyone that cares, compression rod energy bushings:

First, I would like to say eff you for making any allegations of me being a scam artist. I am NOT a vendor in this site and I do not actively seek buyers for my service. I simply own a press and all the dies and offer a service to make peoples on this thread and anyone who owns a Gs life easier. I could really give two ***** if anyone bought these from me. I merely made an option for people who want new ball joints and polyurethane bushings for their compression rods because I know how big of a pita it can be do drive around looking for a shop to do the work.

Now, I was not "deflecting" on the question I was stating why you should stop talking. But, to answer your question: you see the way the rod on the bushing end is slanted? That's not supposed to be at that angle. Nissan was nice enough To give our cars a **** suspension. Just because the bushing may not be torn does NOT mean that the car is at optimal operating condition. If you looked at MY rods, they are flat. Again, I would like to request the alignment data for his car. I would put real money on the fact that his caster is screwed and poly bushings would help correct that whether he buys them from me or anyone else. You can ask anyone on this thread who has asked me questions about these that I will coach anyone thru finding a cheaper and easier way to get this done if you don't want to go thru me. This is not even a measurable source of income for me.

Again, I am merely here to give the option that I wish I had when I did my rods, and since I have the tools to do so, I was just being a nice guy. So, thanks for your input, but you are indeed wrong about me and my motives.

I don't need compression rods, but I think its cool to offer this to fellow members. If someone asked, would you consider getting oem rods and installing the polys?

Absolutely. I mean theoretically I can get whitelines or spls and any type of rod whether it be OEM, raybestos, doorman, or whatever and just press em in at the extra cost. The reason I offer these particular ones is

A: I have had zero problems with mine and

B: when greased properly the energy's are the cheapest solution for a noise free, OEM type ride while fixing caster and steering issues.

Most peoples issues with the energy's is creaking, but a lot of those people use lithium grease when they should be using silicone grease and have them swimming in the stuff.

I had no idea that ball joint couldn't be replaced. I thought ball joints could be pushed out somehow. What about the ball joints of the upper control arms and the other one is called the knuckle?

Yeah, all the other ball joints can be replaced except for the c-rod. A lot of people will replace the bushings in their stock rods only to later have the balljoint go out. This just keeps you from doing the work twice. I mean if someone is comfortable with the condition of their balljoints and decided to do that, that's fine, but you just never know with joints that have 60k+ miles on them.

It has a solid backing so it can't be removed. Its literally built right into the rod itself. Kind of a stupid design.

Its almost like they said, "hey let's make this ball joint 13" long and put a bushing on the end of it."
