Accident's? You has them

Post Pics and Story about your accident.

Here's my contribution:

I was going down 1093 (westheimer) heading to work toward's mason road on a monday morning, when I came to the intersection WHAM! a big ol' Diesel Dodge slam into my door doing 75 mph. My car skid, hitting a curve flipping 6 or more time's and finally stopping on a field.

Life flight was called for me, I was legally dead for two minute's but thank god the First Responder's (My buddy fire department) revived me.

After and intense recovery and 9 month therapy I'm back to normal, but with a lesson well learn "Appreciate life and love your loved one's".

Before:

After:

^^My old little ricer car, Kinda of miss it. But the G is way better!

Unfortunately, I don't have pics of my accident. And if I do I sure as hell can't find them LOL..

Here's my story though: January 21, 2001.....

I left the office early at 3:30pm to head down to clear lake to visit my girlfriend. I was travelling down I-10 east just past Hwy 6. I was in the second to left lane going about 55mph. As I signaled and turned to see if anyone was in my blind spot all I noticed was my vehicle (93 Integra) spinning wildly. Apparently, someone sideswiped me. The thought running in my mind was "am I going to stop?" Well it just gets better. Apparently, my vehicle spun so fast I slipped in a gap between the feeder and the freeway which lead to me to fall into the bayou below. About that time the water had splashed on my face and snapped me out of shock and my car was sinking. I had to kick the driver window open as the water was already up to my chin.

Worst part of it all was having to be in that nasty bayou water. LOL...eww..

Damn lucky you didn't drown or no oncoming traffic hit you.

It's like everything happen's so fast, but at the same time time slow's down.

I can just imaging you ninja kicking your way out of there. Lol

Holy Crap OP, glad you are ok.

I was rear ended at like 30 mph, that's the only accident I have been involved in.

Was sitting on a highway stuck in construction. Was a two lane highway that merged to one lane. I was at the back of a line of cars. There was a kid in a Ford Explorer screwing around with the radio and not paying attention and suddenly saw he had to merge. Rather than hit a bunch of cones he decided it would be better to slam on the brakes last minute and get into my lane. Needless to say, he didn't stop until my car stopped him. The impact spun me around almost 180 and put me into the median. It twisted the chassis pretty good and ended up with ~19k in repair bills. The decided to total it out thankfully. I had to stress that it's a performance car and you don't just twist the chassis on a car like this back into place and expect it to be like it never happened.

No real injuries to speak of.

It's too bad, it was a fun car. 12.6 @ 109

Yeah the ninja kick was funny b/c after i kicked out the window all the water came rushing in and i pulled myself onto the roof and jumped to a nearby branch missed and fell into the water....God that was gross....

Mysterymann - It was a hit an run...I wish I would've got a hold of the driver. I would've drowned him myself.

Freddy - Yeah man I asked for several tetanus shots...and took hot boiling showers for a week straight. Yeah that's true I am alive i'm thankful for that

mine was not as bad as some of you guys but hes mine, my first accident/car

I was driving north on HWY6 near beechnut on a rainy day. I was approching the beechnut light when a white hyundai cut me off and i hit the brakes and slid right under her hyundai. when i hit her the airbags came out and hit my jaw up making be bite my tounge and i was covered in blood gushing from my mouth. when the cops finally came the lady said she was just in the lane and i hit her from behind so i got the ticket even though i had a witness that told the cop that she cut me off and there was nothing i could of done. the worst part, it was an old lady so they took her side and there was no damage to car car except for a small scratch on her bumper and she was able to drive away from the accident..... not so lucky for me... car totaled and got the ticket

I got a couple, both were Accords.

First was an '89 accord. I took a turn too fast, accidentally pressed the gas instead of the break and hopped a curb ('bout the height from the pic above that the previous person posted) and hit a tree. Car was totaled.

My last one was the reason why I got the G. Some stupid lady cut me off in her SUV on the freeway, I didn't leave enough space between us and all of a sudden she swerves and switches lanes and I slam on my brakes but still rear end a box truck. Car wouldn't start because the firewall got pushed back and since I had an audio setup, the wire was run along the firewall, thus pulling the battery terminal out. Also the distributor broke. Sucks....I was making a super loud and clean sounding system too... 18" TC 5200 (aka Eclipse Ti Pro), 4 PDX 1.1000's amps, 4.150 PDX powering Zapco CK 16.2 components, double din with nav and H701 processing...bad azz...You can see the eBay projector headlights, lol.

Oh yeah...several months after the accident that lady in the SUV claims injuries for her and her passenger. Claimed that she pulled over, etc...BS because I was pulled over for 45 mins and I can clearly see the exit. Anyway, got the CHP report, she indicated there that she was the only person in the vehicle.....charges were dropped and I assume she got hit with insurance fraud. Sad how people try to screw you over.
