would i need more than a jack and jack stands? and would i need another person to help me? is there a DIY on this? hahah

If you feel comfortable drilling holes in your frame...GO FOR IT!

Nope you can use your jackstands to do this. might need a foot off the ground. Itss as simple as changing the brake pads....thats how much height you need really.
