I was not too fond of the fit of the A/C bracket over the right side strut bracket either. So I decided to screw with it and used a Dremel to grind a slot in the A/C bracket where it contacts the strut bracket. I then placed two 1/4" washers (thick ones) under the A/C bracket to give me a tight (metal to metal contact) fit again.

^^ good work. your bracket is a little more bent up than mine, but i notice you have an '04.5. i may just end up putting spacers on it and calling it a day.

Silly question, what is the minimum clearance needed between the Strut Bar and the Engine Cover? It is just supposed to close enough to not contact the cover at all, or should their be around a 1/4" spacing from the cover?

I think that's subjective. Some prefer that there is a good gap, some might not care, but I think it all depends on the owner. I think more importantly as long as the bar is not bending the hood, I think you'll be fine.

Bump for a very nice product!

I put a layer of CF and some paint over mine to better match the other stuff.

Thumbs up

Thanks Richie for a great product. No issues installing it with the Greddy Turbo kit and the Kinetix intake manifold. I had the bar polished as well!

Thanks Richie..........!!

I guess I got one of the last strut bars in your inventory. Received it Monday
got it back from the powdercoater this afternoon and had it installed by
4:00 o'clock. No real issues except I dropped one of the tower nuts and had
to go get one.....I can never find anything on this car once I drop it.....they
rarely hit the ground! Love the bar Richie.....Thanks for remembering my
email and request for the bar!

g20hydrid, do you have a picture of your strut tower (specifically where the adjustment ***** are)?

It'll clear as long as the adjustment ***** don't come up too high - here is a picture of how much room you have
