Why does THMotorsport charge your credit card for the tokico hp shocks before they ship out? Also, does THM actually have these shocks in stock for the G35 sedan or are they on order from the manufacturer?

 

Hi

Its a procedure that we have been doing for all the years we have been in business, just like most stores that I can think of. To ensure this proper procedure when you place your order we must charge your credit card before we ship out your orders...unless you are a major wholesale customer with numerous repeat business. Otherwise it will be a mess of disorganization.

Wouldn't you want to get payment first before you ship out an item to someone you don't personally know?




In some cases when we process up the orders we do run out of stock since we ship out per order basis...we don't have infinite supply of these, and TOKICO does not drop ship to the end user.


Most of the orders placed for the HP's are for the 350Z shocks. That is ordered for both the G35/coupe/sedan and the 350Z....about 90% of the time, so our inventory and ordering procedures reflects that.

However, we stock both the G and the Z shocks as best as we can and we order up more and receive more basically every 2 weeks. We pretty much always have them on order and are at the mercy of TOKICO to supply us on time. And they sell out very fast most of the time.

Sometimes tokico doesn't deliver on time since they have to build them. The aftermarket shocks that tokico makes is a very small percentage of their income....unlike the OEM. So priority is not always there for the aftermarket needs.

Hope that clarifies some of the questions.

Feel free to ask us if we have them in stock and we will do our best to let you know. We want to have everyone as happy as possible...but in some cases we may not have power until we get resupplied.

As far as stock check on sedan G35 HP shocks goes: I am out of the front passenger shock. In stock next week on the new shipment. The rears and drivers shocks are in stock.

This is what happens when we cater to the needs of those who want only to replace one shock...

We just got back from Redline Time Attack - Circuit Battles - PRO TRACK CHALLENGE

It was a major good time!!!

Very Awesome Event!!! Those who couldn't make it you get a chance to watch it on the VS network very soon.
