Try looking on Craigslist.org. They list apartments everywhere in the US and you can choose weather or not you want to have a broker involved or just deal straight with the landlord.

stop by any heb or gas station and scoop up a the free apartment books. i know on that side of town the apartments are small for the high dollar price. anywhere in sa takes about 20 mins to get to. i have lived on everyside of town. where are ya'lls jobs located?

my job is on 1604 and bulverde rd, gf is trying to transfer to the 281 and brook hollow location. I'll go grab some of those books later, thanks rob. i'll start looking around this weekend. until then, would you have any recommendations since you've lived on all sides of town already?

Right off of Henderson pass there are some nice appt. right before you hit the access road before the theater. then off off Redland rd... stay on the access road pass Gold Canyon drive and then turn left on redland (exit before bulverde) go up and there are several new complexes that have garages and are nice too.

He has a good point. Blanco inside the loop is reasonable. But als try down henderson pass. They have some nice places at the not so nice high prices. Henderson pass from the access road of 281 all the way down towards thousand oaks. Try Blanco inside the loop towards bitters or even past that towards west avenue too.

Directions were kinda confusing at first since northside is all new to me, but after looking at google maps it made perfect sense lol. Thanks guys, I'll def check out these areas. Anyone know what you call those little car washes that some apartments have where you bring your own soap and bucket to handwash your car? Its just a little pit with hoses. I have had alot of bad luck using the touch free pressure wash places

Thats one thing I am going to miss about not living in a house, can't wash your car on your driveway!!

I agree, you might find a two bedroom for 750-900 w/o a garage in that side of town. I've paid 840 (with discount) for one bedroom 860 sq ft with a garage. A garage is a must for your car, if your planning to upgrade it. most of the times you can't see your car from most apartments. you might get lucky and find a good deal and location for you. good luck
