It is sad that this is actually true! As a Packer fan all i can do is thank Favre for the memories and all the glory his has brought to the packers organization and its fans! I am actually flying up to Green Bay on Thursday for the annual Fan Fest that is held at Lambeau Field... I will get to meet the future QB of the pack, Aaron Rodgers...I trust Aaron Rodgers if he can stay healthy... he might be the second coming of Favre like Young was to Montana... you never know! Thanks Brett for everything!

Yes it is official Chris... they have never fully came out and said he is going to announce his retirement as they did today... in the past it has always been a stipulation weather he will or not...
