New to the G35 scene in SA

Whats up guys i just picked up an 05 G35 a couple of weeks ago. been looking for other G members in SA. I havent done much but if i decide to start modding it itll probably be mostly cosmetic stuff. I currently have a 98 ta thats kinda fixed up so i use that as a weekender & the G35 i drive almost everyday. I buffed the vehicle tonight so ill get some shots of it tomorrow when i get off work. You would think since the dealer detailed it there wouldnt be any scratches but they were all over. If theres any specific times or spots for meets LMK im always down.

thanks
Jay

thats some nice work. I like the PC but it takes too long to work some of the polishes. I more geared to menzerna stuff. ill take em tomorrow, i was busy doing a truck heres a pic of a CTS-V i detailed this past weekend.

it was new with dealer tags still on it, so all i did was use some P085rd then waxed with some EXP. i have 2 dewalts & 1 PC. Also if you ever need any aggressive polishes i have plenty here at the house. that megs 80 doesnt do much for cobwebs. Youre probably better off using something like IP or SIP with a PC and something like maybe a megs yellow or a CMA green/orange pad.

heres some before n afters i did on a NsX some time ago.

After.

any other ? LMK

There we go that is a much better representation of your work. I bumped up to M83 recently but haven't had the chance to apply it. I finally got a garage at my apartment so will be testing it very soon. You should stop by to advise....

m83 sucks even with a PC. Im not too sure how much you like megs stuff but i have the 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85 & 105 & the only one ive ever had very good luck with the PC is the 105. It seems aggressive but if you follow with something like 82 or even 80 you should get those webs out just fine. Just take your time & make sure you work in the shade. Those megs polishes are a bitch to work on if your working in the sun or in a very humid place. GL ill post pics of the G tomorrow after work ill take some pics.

What apartments do you live at. LMK ill stop by if you want a hand. ill bring some things if you want to try something new.

Funny enough I noticed that at the wing stop meet yesterday. You guys should host a club meet for new recruits, BBQ, beer and detailing day. Just throwing that out there :P

So do you detail on the side or as a primary job? What kind of mobile setup do you use? Truck, van, trailer? Tanks, generator, pumps?
