The Thursday during Fiesta week I had to go pick some camera supplies up on Flores and military! I was going the speed limit and a cop tailed me for two miles. Got pulled over and was asked if the vehicle was stolen. I said no, thinking to myself "he would know if it was or not!" Then he asked what I was doing on "that" side of town! I told him the truth about the camera supplies. Then he said , "your a long ways from home!" He asked me again what I was really doing in the area. I got pissed and told him that as a taxpaying member of society that I have the right to come and go as I please as long as I am not breaking the law. He then at that moment handed me a ticket for failure to display license plate. I asked him if he had already had written it up and he said he spotted my car outside the store and all he did was fill in my name when he pulled me over.....The funny thing was that there were probably 6 cars that drove by with no front plate. But I suppose I was the odd ball in the Benz. I dont want to put an ugly bracket on my bumber!

After we left the meet I had a popo follow me for about 5 miles ******* with me. He kept speeding up getting right on my a5s then slowing down. Every time he did that he would flip on the radar for about 2-3 seconds. ******* cop was trying to bait me into speeding. There was also a pretty nasty accident on 1604/i10 interchange and only one responding officer because half the force was at the meet giving ticky tacky bullshiit front plate tickets. ******* s.a.p.d....

So I told this girl at work about Thursday night....she said SAPD fell WAY short on their tickets....Cheif was pissed and almost doubled the quota for April and May.......she says they will be doing stupid traffic stops for 60 days starting mid April.....Thursday was the 30th and they were still behind so they will continue to enforce ...plates, tint, and unsafe lane changes....alll the dumb **** they can find. Her dad and brothers are SAPD.

I remember getting a ticket for not having a front license plate. Damn cops made a road block and were having all the cars pull into a shopping center. They were handing out DUI tickets like crazy. Thank god I only got a ticket for no front plate but my friend in the stang wasnt so lucky.

Long story short it only a fix it ticket most likey. I made a temporary bracket in my garage mounted the plate and took it to some little court house. A cop came out and check it out and I think I payed like 12 bucks. Went home and took it off and have been rolling with it in my windshield.

This works even if you live in TX? How can you register in GA if you live in San Antonio?

Cops have been a little worse lately out on 35 too (selma & schertz). They have one up on the over pass clocking and a bunch writing the tickets. After reading this, I am glad I made my own bracket on the bumper for the plate.

funny how every officer will deny such things as quotas exist.
