Hey guys, so the rims/tires are coming in soon and I'd like to get the SPC camber kit installed. What shops can you recommend to install this since it requires drilling into the under carriage?

are you installing just the camber kit or the kit and the toe bolt?

 

Its the full kit. Looks like Tony is going to help me out with it. I appriciate it.

 

Yea we don't do shops for nothing except body work, we always just do it ourselves.

Hey no worries at all bro. Family first! Luckily your team has been more than helpful so its all good!

 

What there is no drilling at all for a rear camber kit. Also there is nothing wrong with that guys install. When the car was jacked up it takes a while for the springs to compress back down. Also your car will be lower in the back with alot of camber and when you take the camber out it will bring the car up some in the rear. Install is simple you could do it yourself. Have a buddy help adjust the camber while you watch till you get to the shop for the aline.

Installation:
A. Replace the lower control arm with the Camber Kit Arm. Use stock toe bolt here.
B. Remove the spring perch arm and reinstall with the Toe Bolt in the Kit. Use the template in the kit and a Dremel to drill out the hole. Make the hole only big enough so that the Toe Bolt BARELY turns 360. DO NOT MAKE THE HOLE TOO BIG OR THE TOE BOLT WILL MOVE EVEN AFTER TIGHTENING IT DOWN.

 

When i put mine in i did not cut anything. my car is at factory specs. Are you doing this on a 350 z maybe that is different than the G35

sorry i did not even think about it. I also used my factory bolt with the factory washer so maybe that is why i did not have to cut anything. Worked out fine for me. Best of luck and i wish you were close i would be happy to help

 

yeah if you use the different bolts you have to make the hole a bit bigger.
