Talking My new tires initial thoughts Kumho Ecsta LX platinum

So as many of you may know i got some m45 19inch sport rims. so i also decided to go with the new Kumho Ecsta LX platinum all-season tire. I went with 245/40 19 on all four wheels. I so far love the tires! they are W rated for the speed, and have a 600 tredlife rating (which is amazing for a low-profile tires). They ride smoother then the oem potenzas to be honest. I took some corners and got on it, and they did extremely well. I am so far impressed with the tires. All-season tires with 600 tred rating, W speed rating, and low-profile killer looks..you can't ask for much more then that! Oh and I also paid 198/tire from a local shop. The price point is very good when compared to the Michelin a/s pilots and some other brands which were 250-300/ tire. All in all i am very happy with my purchase, and hope to see more guys who run all-seasons to pick these tires up.

^u may have got a sport tire? thus giving you only 15k miles? also the platinums are super new, just came out in spring, so no too many ppl have got them yet. so far so good though...knock on wood.

Sweet, good luck with them. Haven't heard of these before. With the 600 rating, just be aware that the UTQG rating/comparisons are not the same across the board for each manufacturer (that's what I learned when shopping for tires on here). Hope you get many miles out of them! I have about 40K miles on my Toyo T1-R's and will get another 5K out of them before replacement...I think that's pretty good.

My Ecsta SPTs are a 320 UTQ rating for comparison by the same mfg.... which is generally the only way to really compare those ratings, is by the same mfg.

Sheesh, google these tires for pricing/reviews, and it brings me right back to here. Glad to hear they're a good tire, Ive been leaning towards them.

everytime i look up something, M45 rims, rim repair, spring install, portland/northwest Gs, theres ckp.

was it $198 mounted? if so, where at?

^LOL i made like a million threads about asking questions about everything and anything before I buy something. i like to triple check everything before i spend money no it was 208 mounted/wheel. i go them from speed concept in beaverton oregon. and then i know a guy who mounts/ balances tires outta his house (totally legit, and has all the right equipment) and he charged 10/tire and if you wanna swap tpms's its 12/tire.

i've dealt with them on numerous occasions. they are as good as it gets IMO. send an email to Kyle and tell him the tire and sizes you want, then he'll should be able to set it up for you. I've dealt with him on quite a few transactions and he'll call you if there's a problem, he always answers if you need help. A shipping confirmation with tracking number will be sent out as well. Tell him the, sredish, the guy with the H&R sway bars sent ya.
