The thing about people like John is that every time we did any mods or repairs on our cars we were all very involved in what was going on. Sometimes it was 3 or 4 of us working on one car. So now we have the accumulated knowledge of how to mod and repair other Gs from past experience.

If you take your car into the shop they do all the work for you and you never learn anything. If you turn the wrenches yourself with the help of friends then you learn to mod for yourself.

Give a man a fish and he eats for one day, teach a man how to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

Speaking of installing...Armando (Dimeo187) and I did a little moding of our own a few days ago. I helped him install an Ipod Integration Kit into the trunk and ran it into the center console of his coupe. We installed the Ipod kit under the arm rest of the rear seat.

Then we installed an Mrev2 and 5/16 Motordyne spacer into my G. It was getting dark so I finished the installation the next day by installing the Isothermal valve and rechecked all the bolts. Thanks for your help bro!

I guess i'm 2 years late... Wish I him sooner : /. I want to learn how to do things on my own but I rather have somebody teach me than try to be the brave one and go off replacing the brakes which sounds easy by the way you guys make it seem. Anyways good luck over there john. Hopefully I find someone like you over here in austin.
