Just saw it on CBS news this evening that a G35 sedan driving at a high rate of speed on Westheimer between Beltway 8 and Hwy 59 jumped a curb, hit a fire hydrant then hit a telephone pole. Two females died at the scene, the other two are in serious condition. The vehicle was racing two other vehicles who both left the scene.

Just one more example of how dangerous car racing can be, especially on a street as busy and crowded as Westheimer is. May God be with the families of all those involved. And for those not involved, please think twice next time about going for it next time someone revs on you at a red light.

 

Reminds me of the incident that happened not too long ago in Houston. 3 people died. 2 teens and an elderly woman.

I heard the guy who raced the 350Z fled the scene, but officials caught him and brought him back.
Rumors saying it was a Black Obsidian G35 Coupe, turbo'd, body kit, black rims with a red lip, and a custom vanity plate (making it easier for others to get his plates).

Strange thing is... a few days later... guess who I see? The exact G35 that matches the description.
He's still on the roads... and you know what this guy does? He revs at me and speeds away with his windows down and music blaring.

As a matter of fact, with all the information I've gathered, I believe the person involved in the racing and fled the scene is actually a member on 'Driver.
But, I have yet to 100% verify who it is, so I am not going to point fingers or say names.
But, buddy... if you're on the boards... and you're reading this... you should not be allowed to drive ever again.
And don't you ever f-cking rev your crap at me again.
