Race Track in Houston...

Race Track in Houston...

Is there a race track in Houston that us members go to? Rather to race w/ friends/others or to do time test for 1/4 miles & such...

Need race track because racing on the highways is dangerous & costly(too many damn tickets)

Your input is greatly appreciated.

If you want a road course, there's MSR Houston in Angleton.

Also in Angleton is Angleton Dragway 1/4

27250 FM 2004

Going I-10W towards San Antonio about 20min outside of Houston there's Lonestar Motorsports Park 1/4

120 Old Columbus Rd. S. in Sealy

http://www.msrhouston.com/ -- it's not cheap unless you go as a group, even then you're looking at a couple hundred dollars/day.

This is why they created search engines.

http://www.houstonraceway.com/ Friday nights. Test & Tune $20 to race, $10 spectator

If you want to race a particular person. You can line up with that person or anyone that you want to runup against. Its at your on well. You can run as many times as you like in that given night. I'll warn you. The lines are long an you might only get in about 3 or 4 runs

Also since HRP is big for all the event and major professional races make sure to go the week after a major event cause people will come in town as early as 2 weeks to test and tune there drag cars for events. I go out to HRP alot and will pretty much go any Sunday night for Test and tune. Just post up.
