Did you have a chance to look at the parking situation at Salt Lick?

Hey Tim, I started to last night but this is much further than I was expecting... An Austin guy needs to go check out the parking situation, this place is an 1 1/2 hours away from me. Is this the right place?

Wow that is quite a drive for the San Antonio folks. I'll see if anyone from Austin can go and take a look at the place.

Also if that does not work out I can suggest Logan's Roadhouse as an alternative. I spoke to them earlier today and they can accommodate about 60 people in a separate room, and there is plenty of parking for everybody. I would still like to have someone check the place out just in case.

The parking lot at salt lick is big, but mostly rocks and gravel. Not a lot of dust the last time I was out there, but it's not a nice parking lot. There's some grassy areas to park in, but not a lot.

 

The Austin crew will be gathering at the same location as last year for the initial meet up. Here are the details...

Saturday June 27th. Meet at 11:15 a.m. roll out at 11:45 and cruise to San Marcos arriving at 12:30

Also, I suggest bringing 2-way radio's (walkie talkies). They were a big help last year!

How late is the meet going to be. Might be interested but I am from Houston and not sure if I will be able to make it in time.

 

Our reservations @ Logans is at 3:30 so I would say somewhere around 6...
