Arrow Turn Signal Lights

So I was thinking about changing the turn signal lights to white and I was wondering will just changing the bulb get rid of that amber color that stays in the light even when it is off or will I have to get a diff lense as well?
And for the people that have had this done, have yall gotten in trouble by the law??

You have to dremel out the lens and replace it with a clear lens.
You should have a bulb underneath that blinks amber.
If you have a white bulb that blinks when you signal, you can be ticketed for that.
