Smoked Tail lights in dallas, TX

I have my tail lights smoked and I was wondering if anyone has tried to pass inspection with them being like that? And if so, where? I need to get my inspection done ASAP.

just like you would tint a window wet the tail light take off sticky side get it real wet and keep it that way or else itll be hard to work with then you just steam on the side your working with itll make it more mendable (sp?) and get it how you like it use a card with a towel around it and make sure you get out all bubbles and creases then you cut off extra and voila
