Hey guys I have a question (didn't want to start a whole new thread about it). I like the sound of my OEM exhaust. But is it possible to add test pipes or HFC's to an OEM exhaust? I figured that way it would be just a tad bit louder than stock.

Trunk isn't bad, it could be better, but I never open it so it doesn't bother me.

Yes, you could add any of them. ART Pipe, test pipes or HFC.

add kinetix 300cell high flow cats... this is a 350z but you get the idea

Fast Intentions 300cell HFC are good too but cost more

ART pipes would be the best to add but also cost the most. they have zero rasp but you can still smell gas

i would not recommend adding regular test pipes since they rasp, even resonated test pipes rasp. also you can smell unburnt gas...

i had the Fast Intentions 300cell HFC on the stock exhaust and it sounded great. stock but deeper and a little louder

sucks i had to sell them

you may have to remove the HFC cover since it may rub on the aftermarket HFC causing it to vibrate and rattle

What I like about aftermarket exhaust's is that they look good from the rear. Nice & polished when compared to the dull & dirty look of OEM. But I really like the subtle sound of the OEM exhaust. I think I remember reading somewhere that the Nismo exhaust is a good combination of what I'm looking for. Nice & polished, and a little louder than stock.

To all those in ELP. How's it going. New here mainly becasue I am sold on getting a G35 coupe. Though can't find much here in ELP. Does any one have any leads on a G for sale in this area. Looking for 2004 to 07, auto. Also, any tips on what I should be looking at as far as problem areas or sign of abuse. Tanks for all the help if you can.

You can have the stock exhaust muffler polished... add HFC and you have the look and sound you want

Nismo is a very nice exhaust. I had it on my old 350Z. The problem I ran into is that it started to drone when I added HFC, especially on the highway.

I'm looking for a coupe rimarily but if I come across the right sedan then maybe. Some one told me there was one on a lot off George Dieter. I go by Fri morning. Found a few in Phoenix. Might have to make the trip.
