Is this problem related to the Audio Finisher?

My wifes 03 G35 Sedan has this problem that the radio and A/C controls work fine for a while upon start up then the console controls just turn off. My wife noticed that she can still control the radio with the steering controls. The problem is intermitant. We can turn car off for a few minutes and everything works fine, then it may happen again.

Back in 10/04 the Radio Finisher was replaced but that time the radio volume would go up/down on it's own. The price of the Finisher-Radio-28041_AM812 was $352.30. Of course it was replaced under warantee then.

Due you guys/gals think I can get this repaired free, car just went out of warantee in 09/06?

Does anyone know where I can get the verbage on this TSB if it's related.

Thanks in advance.

you may be able to if it is within 12 months of the replaced part being replaced. Though it seems like they might have done a half-@$$ed job doing the repair and wires may be loose. Call your dealers service department and complain...

worst comes to worst that you have to replace it.. check out Chads site

Here is a very good site to look at as well...
