Hello, just got my 07 Journey with 8,500 miles last week and the gauges stop working (rpm, speedometer, gas and temperature). Also, the VDC, brake and ABS lights up and my heater control is not working too. Anybody have any ideas before I bring it into the shop.

Just call your dealership to diagnose it. It's probably a bad ground or connection causing the problem, but messing around with it on your own would probably make doing the diagnosis harder for the dealership to perform, not to mention it may cause them to think it's you who caused it.
