Yeah, it's no big deal though.
Just take it back.
The new board works just fine, i guess they just missed a step when they 'fixed' my car.

As long as you're still under warranty they will.

Had the same problem. Took to Concord service, got the new head unit in about one week, took two weeks to get the cd's back. Gave them a list of the cd's. The service department sent the unit for their warrenty at a location in San Jose.

my question is this: fast forward a couple of years from now when our warranties run out. for those of us that will still have our cars, what will we do when we get this problem? will we be paying for a new head unit everytime we get this error? that would definitely be annoying.

I'm still trying to figure out if you can wire it back up and be able to run it again after taking it apart and removing the CDs. or is that CD Error FO there forever and ever.....and ever?

Well... i just got an estimate from the dealer $450 for the refurbished radio and $150 for the replacement, total about $600. I guess is the only way out, the only thing that i want to do before is to figure out how much is to install an aftermarket radio, maybe with an lcd and dvd, i know the work has to be custom made... anybody has an idea how much $$$, any suggestions in miami???

Thanks

They are recommending a Jensen VM9312 for less than $400, I don't know if is good but it plays all kinds of CD's and DVD's, MP#, WMA, has auxiliary inputs for other options and even back up camera. I'm looking for experienced moders to recommend or comment. My unit also fail on less than two years and the replacement has the error message for about a month.
