Good shop to tune Vortech. Socal ??
Looking for a good shop to tune and dyno. I know about GTM but looking for another shop. I just found out that Brainstorm closed down. Where else are you guys taking your cars? Thanks

GTM! Dont think twice, I did, and now I'm back at GTM
Lesson learned. I had a shop fvcked up my S.C install and it wasn't even ready for tune yet, after tune it was detonating
Had to make the little far trip to GTM, they took care of everything, re-tuned it, perfect

it's not that i dont want GTM just looking for alternatives. but i hear good things about GTM so i talked to sam and George. i'll head over there.
I have an appointment with Shawn Church on the 13th of March to have a tune done. I have heard that he is one of the best around, and is in Socal.

Shawn IMO is very good at Osiris Uprev. After Shawn dynoed my car with a Utec on my Procharger, his dynapack #s were 354whp 313tq, we went on the Dynojet at GTM which is more accurate, and it came out 303whp 288tq
It was detonating and knocking at certain rpms, and turns out it was tuned with my utec un-grounded, so only used 30% of the map
Now I'm 347.9whp and 329.1tq on GTM's Dynojet, and imagine how higher the #s would be on a dynapack. As for which shop hacked up my car for the SC installed, EDO Performance did. They busted a " VRT " on me except VRT did it on purpose

Actually, Dynojets are not as accurate as Dynapacks, for the simple reason that there are more variables that cannot be controlled (alignment, tire inflation, etc.). Sorry to hear that your ECU was ungrounded. Since there was no knock initially, I'm assuming something came undone later? I'll certainly keep your experience with Edo in mind in the future!

Remember, numbers are just numbers.
PS. I'm assuming you mean dynojets are closer to what you get in the "real" world (in load) since they read off the wheels and not the hubs.
