There is no such thing as a set standard. What could be 223 on one dynojet can be 240 on another dynojet. There's no point in guessing.

The only thing ninous26 can do with these numbers is compare it with other G35's/350Z's that have dyno'd on the same machine in similar conditions.

That's why its so important to always get a stock baseline dyno if you plan on modifying the car

Ok well there was an 03 350Z 6MT that dynoed on that same dyno about 30 minutes before me

his numbers were 243 WHP and 239 TQ

His mods were:

Top speed cat back exhaust
top speed test pipes
Injen CAI
unorthodox pulleys (set of 3)

I have no idea what gave him 20 more ft lbs of torque than me.. Could it be the 6MT?

Possibly that he has a manual but i think the pulleys improved his TQ, I could be wrong though...

neither had a tune... Maybe he dynoed in a different gear.

He told me that his pulleys did not gain him anything but he gain 4 MPG so he was happy w/ that.

didn’t you say earlier you thought his pulleys were the reason he had 20 lbs more trq than you?...

Its very doubtful that pulleys will give better mpg BTW.

Edit: nevermind... it was someone else that suggested the pulleys...

breather mods (especially HFC or Test Pipes) can cause lean condition and pull timing... when fuel is added trq/hp is gained... I guess its possible that his ECU adapted and yours did not

Did either of you get a/f readings when you dyno'd?

I just wanted to post to say that the dyno graph has a great torque curve over all. Most NA engines can't substain that kind of torque over such a wide band...

^^Sorry to say it, but it's old news. With the autos you're looking at an average of about 20% loss and 15% for the 6mt. I don't know how this still surprises people considering every other thread is about this stuff.

I'm disappointed in your numbers.

Your car is POS unless you run 9s in 1/4 mile.
