Hydra Ems?

Anyone Familiar with this Ems? My tuner has installed a few in Subi's and an NSX. It looks promising and I've personally seen it successful in a Few cars. I was thinking of getting it since my tuner is familiar with it and can get me one for a decent $. Anyone with some feedback?

Hydra EMS is one of the top P&P standalone. I don't really know much about EMS but I've used Hydra Nemesis in my built MR2 turbo and had very good experience from it. It uses all OEM sensor + it has built in 3 bar map sensor for a high boost application. One best thing I love the most is that it has knock control built in which it will retard/adjust the timing bases on theshold setting you put in...this will make your car slow/less power before going kaboom.

To me, it worth the money you're going to spend...but again...it all depends on your tuner preferences.

Not my choice, but only because I had never heard about it before for our cars, but thats me, as for tuners I don't let anyone that doesn't specialize in vq tune my car, doesn't matter how nice and knowledgeable they are, my tuner tunes VQs for a living, but if you believe this ems would do the job and do it good, go for it and give us a review.

Thanks for the response. I may have to give it a shot unless the Fcon drops its price.

True, but I can get a Hydra For half the cost and maybe less depending on what I can get for my Utec. I may just get the stock ecu flashed. I dunno..so many things, so little money.

If you're NA get a Osiris Up-Rev flash, if you're not then go with a Utec if you're more on a budget, besides that get a Fcon IS or Vpro and call it a day. Don't waste your time with anything else, you only want to buy this once, and get it tuned right, get something that is used and known on your car where people are experienced with it. I went through too much issues with tuning in the past, I don't want to go through it again, I personally ditched my Utec and went with a Vpro and can never go back, but to see you put some hydra ems thing where I never even heard of it being used on our cars is a no no.
