if u can afford the haltech, then get that. its overkill but the finer control will make for a smoother driving car. plus a dual wideband controller is awesome.

thats a feature only the haltech comes w/

its a bit of an overkill but if you got the money for it, there is no question on which to get

seems like you need to do some more research my friend

They are in two different league... It's like asking us "Should I get Honda Civic or G35 for my DD to school?" Well both will do the job but the G35 has more power, comfort, style but also twice the price. Like the other poster, if you can afford it then Haltech hands down..

you will find the haltech is one of the best engine management units out there

although it is a bit of an over kill for a vortech, your car would be that much smoother

the only reason people get utecs is cause they are cheap, you can find them used for ~$500

no matter which one you go w/, the most important thing is who tunes it, so look more into that before you buy anything, you wanna make sure there is someone locally that can tune that unit

You can't compare the two. You don't need a Haltech but if you can afford it, get it!

I've been waiting for AEM to come out with something for the G/Z. That looks promising.

the first version works but you had to split up the injectors and that was dumb. So they made this one. This is still better the emanage. I am not sure how to compare it with turbo xs. You can compair a piggy back system wiht a standalone. It comes down to your tuner? Can he tune? I wish i could afford haltech i would pic that in a sec.

Also AEM is not comming out wiht a standalone this is a piggy back system. the standalone you would have to convert your throttle body with a cable. Just seem too much work. After all that you might as buy the haltech.

Blah, don't see how that AEM controller is any better than an emanage u, ss box or fcon is....

I'd get the utec if you don't plan on pushing too far....
