214 hp before and 230 after. There is a definite better throttle response and hopefully the tune tied all the mods together..it was interesting watching the 140mph runs on the dyno!

That dyno breaks peoples hearts, but what's important is the gans. Looks very solid in that department. Dave is good people. Did you stay for the meet afterwards?

I did not as my wife came up with me and we met friends for dinner and then today was the trip back home...did you go to the meet? If so I hope the weather cooperated as is poured rain from Richmonds-Chesapeake.

Dave said the gains were very good esp since I am a 5AT.

It actually turned out better than anyone could have expected. Except for the police. Here is a link to the pics thread if you care to see https://g35driver.com/forums/nationa...ic-thread.html

He tuned your car in 4th or 3rd? I plan on getting retuned by FT this week I'm 5at also. I just added headers and some other things.

I was not in the car when he tuned it but watching and listening he ran through the gears up to 140 mph. I don't know what the 1:1 ratio is on the 5AT but that's what the goal should be.

Where did you get your car dyno'ed and get those numbers? I know Dave's dyno is known as a heart breaker as it is a Dyno Dynamics.

From my dyno sheet:

Stock numbers: tq-approx 190@ 4700 rpm's
hp-approx 213@ 6200 rpm's

Post tuning: tq-approx 215@ 4700 rpm's
hp-approx 230@ 6200 rpm's

Looks like the redline was moved to 6500 rpm's vice the stock 6250 but not much power at those rpm's.

Those are solid gains.......especially in the tq department. I would have to assume that those dyno's were in 4th gear.

the 1:1 for the 5at is 4th, but most dyno operators use 3rd. I got my numbers on a dynapak which removes the rear wheels. Those numbers netted me a 13.49 1/4 with a 1.933 60ft on street tires.

I'm guessing I'm in the 250-260 whp range (hopefully). I dynoed 252 on a dyno dynamics before in ca a few yrs ago.

Do you have your run printout with the numbers?

No offense to you, but I would be very surprised if you hit 255 on Dave's dyno with an auto. You have to realize that there are many, many different ways to put in corrections and calibrations into a dyno. I looked around for a while prior to my tunes and most bolt-on tune 6mt's are in the mid 240's-low 250's. One guy on my350 had full-bolt-ons and got his car tuned with osiris (5AT), and made 244. Thats the highest NA auto I have seen on that dyno in tuning mode. I wouldn't pay any attention to the numbers being put up on the local thread dyno day. My car was running on a dead clutch and I still made 10whp more than my last time I was tuned there ( when my car was healthy). I wish you all the luck in the world, but don't want you to think something is wrong if the numbers are lower than expected.

Just an FYI GJ.....your 230 would be in the 245-250 range on a dynojet. Good numbers......now get some more mods on there and get a quick retuned.
