Osiris review
I recently purchased the Osiris program from UpRev for $700. I've been using it and I wanted to let those who don't know about it, learn about it based on my experience. When you load the Osiris program onto your computer, you also get the Cipher program too, which is great, I spent about 10 min. with my laptop and the car playing with all the functions in the car, playing with the timing, coolant, rpms and clearing ALL codes. That is something you want to do before you do any datalogging (clear codes). So here's how it started, it was pretty cut and dry flashing the ECU. Make sure everything that can be shut off is off and only keep the key in the on position but not started. The window has a quick step by step of how to flash the ECU, but as a precautionary, I also had the PDF file open too just to double check my work. Load the file with your name on it with the file ext. ORISISROM. the Other one is to go back to stock. At that point, let the program do its job, just keep an eye on it. When everything is all set and done, you're ready to go. This stuff works. I had 3 maps done, 1 of them being the valet map, and it really did work. I looked like an *** doing 35 in a 50 lol.
Now you wanna do data logging to set up for an e-tune. The only issue I have with that is doing it alone. It's like a catch 22. On one hand, doing it yourself, it's less weight and better performance of the car, however, you can't start or end the log without looking over to the computer. Doing it with someone in the passenger seat may make it easier, but it's more weight and you're not to sure if your car is getting its full potential. I did it by myself. Uprev thought of this already. When you're driving alone, and doing data logging, you can use the space bar to start and stop the logging. It's (2)0-60 runs. A NORMAL city run and a NORMAL highway run. After that's all said and done, make sure you save all your runs because you need to email them back to uprev so they can "fine" tune your car.
As of right now, I'm waiting on Uprev to send me my new tune. But, so far, just the base tune I have based upon the mods I gave them are great. I know there's room for improvement, and I'm excited to see what they're gonna send me. In my opinion, I think it's well worth it. I will update when I get my new tune in if anyone is interested.

Nice work, it's a great product. Definitely go for the custom tune, better than a general map.
I'm lucky enough to be fairly close to Austin so I drive down there and have Jared tune it on their dyno personally. Figure it can't get a better tune than that.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Glad to hear you like it. I live in Austin, and have talked to Richard at Up Rev about getting my car tuned this fall. Have a couple of more projects for it before I hit the dyno! (Damn delay on the MD VQ dual tip

Yup, I'm an 03....different ECU.
I'm thinking about getting a Greddy Emanage and tuning that route. I'd prefer to have multiple maps, but Osiris doesn't wanna bother with supporting us. Which is weird...then they would be able to support some of the Maximas too...

When I had the car, all the mods, and the tune put me in the 270's. I traded the car in about a year ago. The software was great and was second to none, so if it's something you're looking to do, it's well worth the money. The only downside to it is that to run the software, you need to use a laptop. Either way, look into getting a tune. I have a 2011 Camaro SS now. Got a tune done on that and it pulled about 40whp. Now with all the work I have done to it now, I'm at 811rwhp.
