haltech or proefi on a n/a g

haltech or proefi on a n/a g

hey, guys just wanted to ask if the haltech or the proefi standalones are overkill for n/a 05 5/at, my future plans do included F.I. in a year or so but i have a chance to get one of the standalones now and install it i do currently have several mods one my g. CONSTRUCTIVE ADVICE would be helpful. thank you.

Def. overkill for NA. If you plan on going FI its not a bad idea to start. It really depeneds on what your FI goals are going to be as well.

Most Likely a Stand-Alone is overkill either way unless you can get a great deal. From my findings Oisiris/UTEC are better options as far as cost is concerned and will still be able to do whatever you need to do.

I would suggest picking out where you plan on havign it tuned then, talking to the tuner about what your future goals are and what they feel most comfortable using.

I’d go with ProEFI as long as you are dead set on boosting the car in a year.

I’m running UpRev Osiris (dyno tune) on my N/A G35 and my brother is running ProEFI on his boosted 350Z (PowerLab), for the respective applications I think our EMS’s are perfect, no complaints from either.
