Utec Self Tuning Help
Utec Self Tuning Help
Hey guys,
I'm finishing up a turbonetics install on my car and am trying to get a base map off of turboxs website to use as a foundation to tune the car on. While I was putting in each number into the fuel map some of the numbers would not plug in the cell. I tried to put "129" in one of the cells but it wouldn't let me like the number was too high (if I put in "99" it would work fine). I'm wondering if you guys can help me out here to get these base maps put on.
Also, I see that utec wants to use a "speed density" mode to tune the fuel for FI applications but I don't have the map sensor yet so I don't think I can use it. I'll order this for later on but I have to get this car tuned soon and it won't come in on time. Anyone know what I can do in the meantime to get my car to just run relatively safe temporarily? I really need some help on this.

nvm. I found what I did wrong. I had to set all the paramters to go off the speed density fuel tune. Also had to change load to MAP instead of MAF. If anyone has any advice on utec tuning please feel free to chime in.
