v2 engine hks hi-power baseline

Hey all. I just finished 450 miles of a hard break in on my new v2 engine so I decided to go dyno it, lol. Anyways, I never dyno'd the car before the exhaust, and the tuner said that once the engine is fully settled it could squeeze out another 5-10 hp.

Car: 2005 G35 Coupe 6MT
Mods: K&N filter, HKS Hi-Power Exhaust.

Runs in 5th to 7k (apparently my red line doesn't kick in until after 7200... I haven't attempted to see what RPM it will try to stop the engine).

I prepped by doing WOT runs outside and not really giving it a chance to cool down, I think the fan actually helped me out after that run... what didn't help me was I forgot to turn off the A/C on all the runs! =(

Run 1 is w/filter and fan 62.51 °F 29.49 in-Hg Humidity: 37 % SAE: 0.98 Average Gear Ratio: 46.57
Run 2 is w/o filter w/o fan 61.62 °F 29.49 in-Hg Humidity: 38 % SAE: 0.98 Average Gear Ratio: 46.34
Run 3 is w/filter w/o fan 61.33 °F 29.50 in-Hg Humidity: 39 % SAE: 0.98 Average Gear Ratio: 46.39
Run 4 is w/filter and fan 62.17 °F 29.50 in-Hg Humidity: 38 % SAE: 0.98 Average Gear Ratio: 46.57

I just put a machined intake manifold, non-revup lower, and motodyne 5/16" spacer in, and I'll try to hit the dyno again tomorrow! More dyno runs after I get HFCs too, hopefully they all add up to goodness!

What's a V2 engine? Is this a new motor from Infiniti because of oil consumption?

What dealer did you get your replacement from?

We need to do another dyno meet.

The people at Tustin Infiniti are fantastic. Service was beyond top notch when I went there for my blown engine (My engine blew up in LA when I was driving back down to SD). Hoehn has put in a new tranny for me, but it required arm twisting. Esco parts people are always really friendly but I haven't dealt with their service dept, my other friend is having to do some arm twisting for a new tranny over there as well.
