Uprev Tune at Slowmotion, OH

I got tuned with Uprev at Slowmotion, OH

I have 04.5 G35C AT with 5/16 MD spacer, Berks HFC, Invidia Gemini TD.

Dyno Pack was used to measure.

Before the tune I was at 227WHP and 238WTQ

And after tune I was at 249WHP and 254WTQ.

Torque lose at low RPM due to HFC and TD was recovered after the tune

and after 4500RPM I got pretty good power band and I got peak HP around 6000 RPM about 22WHP.

Feel: Due to snow in Ohio, I did not try full acceleration with VDC off but the engine was felt stronger and smoother at the low RPM and high RPM.

However, does anybody know what is the torque bump at the 2700RPM?

Yeah they were great haha

Anyway is it normal that exhaust tone changed?

Mine became much better less rapsy and more throtty.

I am not sure it is placebo or not.

The Power gains at 2700 were due to tuning. We were just able to pick up more in some spots and less in others.

Nice Car!! Enjoyed tuning it! Lets get an Intake on it!!

started my tune yesterday. waiting for new maps for the awd. baseline for me was 200? is that normal. 05 sedan awd with
5/16 spacer,
stillen exhaust,
stillen intake,
berk HFC.......

corey at slomo said its because its an awd and AT, which is understandable, but daymn. is that about right?

That bump is from your torque converter.

+1... that bump is obviously from torque converter. It wasn't in full lockup until the bottom of that little hump. You def got gains but that was not a true reading for peak TQ. Your peak TQ looks like it is around 240.

Yeah I would consider the peak torque was on the 4500RPM.

So was it lilttle bit of torque multiplication?

Did they put the uprev tuned throttle control on your car?

I remember one time while getting dynoed my tq spiked to 295 then dropped to around 250 like yours. I'm 5at also.

Yes, the uprev tuned throttle control was used. While I don't doubt the torque converter wasn't locked up all the way, I was able to pick up power on the bottom side from the tuning, I would assume it will feel stronger down low. Jin? I agree with TollBooth, realistic torque... 240WTQ

I'm sure he picked some up down low. Just hard to tune automatics for this very reason. All in all looks like it was a very good tuning job.

Yes there is low end torque gain definately. More than that, engine became much smoother, stronger, and better sound.(I did not understand the term 'smoother after a tune' until I got my tune.

Before the tune, the car was rough, with HFC and TD exhaust but it is totally different.

IMO, you should get tune if you have HFC and TD exhaust and a tune will give you more HP than HFC and TD exhaust themselves
