Looking to get Osirus Tune
Looking to get Osirus Tune
Hey guys I got an 03 g35 coupe with a z tube kn filter, motordyne plenum spacer, nismo muffler (not catback exhaust) and am installing FI HFCs next weekend. Would it be worth me getting an Osirus tune or do I need to do more mods to make it worth the money? Guy wants $650 to do the tune which sounds high to me. If im going to spend that kind of money I just want to make sure it will be worth it. Thanks

BTW, if you have an 03, you better make sure you have a compatible ecm. PM me your VIN # and I will make sure.
I made the trip to CIN it was worth it to me. I gained over my previous tune. I would make sure I have all my mods installed because it is a haul to get there, but worth it.
The 04 retune thread is my car with the mods I told you about in the drag thread.

I was looking at Hills Garage. Me an my buddy both want to get Osirus tunes so we are gona offer him a $1000 for both or im not gona do it. Id def want to come down an have CIN do it cuz thats a good price but to far the way gas is going.
Lmk if you go to Hills I'll stop by. Did you try R/T Tuning in lansdale pa? The tuners name on here is Vince@RTtuning send him a pm they do a good job also. I ran my fastest time on their tune last yr before Hills had a tuner.
So RT Tuning is another good place. I saw JE Performance in Rosedale and J Tune Performance in Delaware also do the tune. Have you heard anything good or bad from these two shops

Hok at J-tune is an excellent tuner, you can't go wrong with him. I've seen him tune several VQ's and he definitely knows what he's doing.
RT is good too, either way you're going to love the results

I would say buy the tuner system and tune the car yourself. It's worth it. You can run all kind of diagnostics and change a bunch of settings. Not to mention 550whp with the stock ECU is possible.
I'm tuned with Uprev. Love it.
If you figure that you are paying for the license to the tuning software and the dyno tuning, its not like the tuner is making all that money as profit. Dyno's aren't cheap to buy and maintain, and it takes a lot of practice and experience to be able to correctly tune a car.
honda guys gonna buy a K-pro or chip their ecu, 240 guys have to buy a power FC, other guys buy a utec or haltech for big bucks etc etc, and THEN pay for dyno tuning, in the end uprev is actually a very affordable tuning solution if you compare it across the market for what its capable of
