Uprev with or without dyno tune?

Im looking to have my car tuned this weekend with uprev's software. My question is, would it be better to have it installed and then fine tuned with dyno afterwards or is everything pretty much perfect right out the box? I have 2 shops in the area, one will do it for $500 w/o dyno and the other is a bit farther which is $600 w/ the dyno. Im jus wondering if the extra 100 bucks and hour or so drive is worth it. Has anyone gotten better gains after fine tuning the software with dyno?

btw: my engine mods are pretty much all bolt-ons. Its a rev up with intake, mrev2, plenum spacer, headers, fast intention HFCs and borla exhaust.

It's advisable to get a tune using a dyno, that's the only way to truly get your $$ worth and get maximum RWHP from your set up.

or you could get the Osiris Standard from UpRev gives you a tune based on your mods and 3 free re-tunes when you send in your data-logs

my osiris w/ cipher is in the mail right now i was going to plan on running their tune for a while see how i like it, use 1 free tweak see if that changes things if not ill go get it dyno adjusted

basically the reason i went with ordering it rather than paying for the license and tuner fee ($680) because i got the free tweaks and the cipher cable so when i feel comfortable i can do my own tuning, cheaper and saved me a 3hr drive

Even though you have the cable and a license you still would have to upgrade your cable to tune.

The only thing you will be able to do is use cipher and Osiris to reflash your car with their e-tunes.

You will not have ROM editor or RTT unless you have the tuner upgrade.

For $100 extra to have the car tuned on the dyno is CHEAP it should be no comparison a dyno tune is far superior to a "one tune fits all". Usually 3 pulls on a dyno cost around $100. So I would go with the Dyno tune option for sure.

Thanks. Thats wut i wuz leaning towards anyway. The other place for $500 wanted an additional $160 for each hour on the dyno and it wuz at a different location.
