Urgent! Vdc is engaging and malfunctioning!

Hi I just had my full exhaust installed and driving home... every time I start the car and drive a few feet, vdc engagesd my brakes lock and the slip and vdc off lights come on. The car drives fine after that, but with vdc presumably off. They had to make room while installing and I feel they left something out.

Some of the work was done from on top of the car, so they had to disconnect things in order to get access. Before I thought maybe they forgot to plug in a sensor or something of that sort, but we now believe that it is a problem with the alignment of the steering wheel, because the steering shaft had to come out. The spline was very rusty, so I am going to have to check to make sure everything is toight.

Extra input from anyone with any ideas/ experience for this problem would still be appreciated though

They didnt put the steering shaft back exactly as it came out which causes the computer to react. The problem is with the steering angle sensor and you have to get the steering shaft lined back up and take it to the dealer for a reprogram. Also untill you do that try this....start car and turn wheels lock to lock and then go and drive it.The same thing happend to me when i installed the twin turbos and i discovered by accident howto get around it.
