Bump for some sedan goodness!

 

reminder of last year's goodness...

 

anyone in that area know a good place for some drag racing? i'm hoping to get a few performance oriented sedans together that weekend for a mini-shootout.

 

Dude, you already know what tracks are around... Fontana is the only 1/4 mile but they arent running that weekend... they are on Sep 17th though...

Other than that, the only other option is Irwindale (1/8 mile) - when I used to go it was only on Thurs nights - pretty sure that hasnt changed...

 

i was able to switch my on-call pager rotation for this weekend so i will def be going to this.

 

any abandoned air strips or private roads?

i guess Fontana the weekend before could be an option, just wanted to get some of the out-of-towners in on the action too

not sure... possibly, since I have lighter rotors it would be interesting to see what it does now... since it added 100lbs from the body work I added about .1 second to 1/4 mile- maybe the rotors will get me back in the sub 14 possibility?

Thinking about going to Streets of Willow the end of this month (kinda burned out on drag, more interested in road course these days) - I asked Zack if he's going, he's not sure yet... if anyone else is interested PM me, if we have enough interest I'll post a thread.

Other than that, I'm trying to find time on days off to go to outdoor shooting range ... so it's a big "maybe" for me for drag strip.

 

end of the month is no good for me, i'll be installing my seats then...
