One of the greatest G/Z events of the year is just around the corner, and I don't know about everyone else but I'm absolutely stoked. I fully expect ZDayZ 2013 to top every previous year before it.

For those of you that don't know about ZDayZ, it's held every year at Fontana Village Resort right along the NC/TN border and is based around the famous Tail Of The Dragon...Hwy 129 (318 curves in 11 miles).

So who's leaving from where and when?

 

Ill be there, arriving thursday morning as I dont live too far. I cant wait. Everyone not going will be missing out.

 

How far from Raleigh N.C?

 

ZDayZ is about 6 Hours from Raleigh. We should get a good size caravan goin. Nothing like seeing bystander reactions to 10-20 badass cars cruisin by.

Are you serious!?!? Thats close. We have a group driving up from Panama City, thats 8.5hrs. My cuz is driving his boosted MX-5 from Louisiana, nearly 12 hrs. There were people from the west coast last year. There is no distance to far to attend ZDayZ.

 

Okay I know this is called ZDayZ but it's heavily supported by G's. This thread is way to dead to be a week out from such an awesome event. Last chance to pre-register.

Just stumbled across this thread, so I need to point out that ZDayZ starts on Thursday - 3 days away.
AND I just have to take note that someone has noted it was too far from Raleigh!!!
Please, please, don't say that within earshot of 684 pre-registered people, representing 33 states, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Japan.
It is too far from RDU only if you don't drive your car.


If you haven't been to ZDayZ and will not go this year (I so sorry), you will miss one of the sickest 3 day parties on the planet and great community of folks. Need a video - watch these in the order of year:
