Import VS Domestic Meet in Long Beach - April 10th

Two of my friends own vehicles that represent the best of both worlds; a Mustang GT drag car and a Honda S2000 canyon carver. We often revisit the topic of which segment of cars is better, imports or domestics? Is it more important to have more raw power to drive fast in a straight line or does a great chassis with well balanced power and weight distribution win the race? Not to say that a Mustang can’t be a great auto cross car or that an S2000 can’t run great times in the quarter mile but we prefer to argue the stereotypical facts for fun.

In fact, we joked about which is better so much that we decided to host an #importVSdomestic meet, where we invite car enthusiasts from all over the LA/OC area to represent for one side or another to somehow settle the score.

Note:

When we call for domestics, we don’t mean just Mustangs, nor do we want only recent makes. We would love to have Classic Muscle cars, Exotic Muscle cars, Drag cars and current make vehicles that properly represent American Car Manufacturers.

When we call for Imports, we are not asking for just S2000′s or Japanese made cars, we’re also looking to see classics and current make vehicles that properly represent Car Manufacturers outside of America. (Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s, BMW’s etc. are considered Imports)

The first Import VS Domestic meet will be held on Thursday April 10th, 2014 in Long Beach at the Signal Hill In N Out located at 799 E. Spring St., Signal Hill, California 90755.

The Meet will start at 8pm and last until 11pm or so. I will be bringing my G35 Nismo Sedan and hope to see some more G's out in Long Beach.

If you plan to attend we just ask for a few things.

Please RSVP so we have a relatively accurate headcount.
Please respect the meet, the AMU team and the nice people at In N Out. This means…

No Burnouts
No Revving
No Loud Music
No Fighting
No Littering
NO DRAMA
NO EXCEPTIONS

Please help us spread the word to your fellow car enthusiasts by sharing this post.

As always, thanks for reading.
