Mike's Radar Detector Mount

Has anybody bought Mike's mirror mount for a 2007 G35s with Premium and Nav? If so, which mount did you buy and how was the fit?

He offers two mounts: a mount for a 3/4" stem and a mount for a 15/16" oval stem. When I checked my mirror stem, it appeared to be about 0.9" and is not oval.

Thanks for any reponses.

The 3/4" worked for me. The two bolts can be adjusted to make it fit. A great product.

contact Mike through the sight and you will get a discount on your mount and he will be able to tell you which one you need..... There are quite a few threads and he is a member here..

Great product as stated above. I have one in my car and i love it. The mute button is easy to push and with the detector up....... it is much easier to hear. Super Product...

I have the mount, and the mount is simply awesome. I have the 3/4 inch one and it fits like a glove. Installation is a breeze, and even the quality of the mount is superb. Well worth the $20 I paid for it...

I should have been more specific...

I have the 15/16" and it works great in my 07 G35S Sedan with compass/homelink mirror. Mike was unsure whcih one would fit my mirror stem; we decided to go with the 15/16 since that was closer to my .9" caliper measurement. It fits fine and is an excellent product.

Thanks mbonus - that was the detail that I was looking for to make a decision. Your .9" measurement is what I had also measured. Did the oval hole of Mike's mount cause any problems since it appears that our stems are round and not oval?

Yes, just ask him for it. He has different mounts for different units

nope, no problems what-so-ever as it is a slight oval.
