I'm trying to load title info for some CDs that weren't recognized by the built-in Gracenote DB. I did it the first time - using a CF card and the TitleInfoSearch.exe program - and it worked great. Found four albums, and successfully copied the info over to the Music Box. Then I recorded about 5 more albums to the MB which also weren't recognized. Transferred the info to the CF card, put it in the computer, ran the program, found the titles, and saved them back to the card. But when I went to load them into the MB from the card, it kept saying "No title information found on card" or something like that.

Thought maybe it had gotten corrupted, so I tried to export the missing titles to the card again, but now it just says "Data transfer error" when I try to do that. Still have the import.exe and export.exe on the card, but doesn't seem to see them. Tried a second CF card and get the same error. If I put an .mp3 on the card, the car plays it fine.

Anybody else gotten this "Data transfer error" trying to update titles on the MB and been able to figure out what the problem is? So weird that it worked fine the first time, then quit working 15 minutes later and doesn't seem to want to work again...

Hmm... It appears I'm the only person who's ever had this problem. Guess it's time to take her to the dealer.

 

This just occurred with my music box. I can no longer update my missing titles. Anyone else ever have this problem?
